Soft Landscaping

Soft landscaping includes the creation planted borders, tree, hedge and shrub planting, sowing of grass and wild flower seed, turf laying and water features. We have considerable experience in specifying plants and seeds to create landscaped areas, and are able to provide detailed planting plans.

Hard Landscaping

We have extensive experience in constructing fencing, walling and garden structures. We also specialise at patio laying and block paving. We will think through all issues and advise you on the best way forward.

Solar Panels

As a green and growing business, one that promotes sustainable living and new technology, we have been one of the first to install solar panels onto the roof of our storage unit.

These solar panels provide most of the electricity we require to run our office and workshop (in daylight hours), and they are helping us to reduce our carbon footprint.

Grass Cutting & Strimming

Our grass cutting team have the equipment to cut large and small areas like sports fields, verges or cemeteries. We have the facility of collecting and disposing of the cuttings either on or off site if required. We are able to cut rough grass such as communal recreational areas or fine grass like football pitches and golf courses. All of our operators are professional in their approach and are Health & Safety aware

Sometimes its impossible to Cut grass in certain areas or it is too long for regular cutting machinery. All of our operators are trained to use petrol driven strimmers. They use PPE at all times are cautious to the surrounding area to avoid any damage or accidents caused by debris whipped up by the strimmer cord. Strimming can be an effective solution to over grown or hard to get to places.

Weed Control

Weed control is important not only for the aesthetic look of an area but also to comply with the Weed Act 1959, where action must be taken to prevent injury from weeds: Ragwort, Spear, Thistle etc. We are trained in pesticide application either from a tractor mounted or knapsack sprayers’. We can apply pesticide in small or large areas to control weeds and other problem vegetation.

Hedge Trimming

Our horticulturally qualified staff have in depth knowledge on pruning a wide variety of plants including trees, shrubs and herbaceous perennials, we are able to advise on the best methods and timings for your situation.

Over the years we have developed specialist knowledge in turf laying and grass seeding. Our varied equipment allows us to seed small and large areas along with hard to reach banks etc with great ease and accuracy. Our methods include tractor mounted direct drilling, broard cast sowing, Hydro seeding and hand sowing. We have experience in drilling sports fields, golf cources, parks, road verges, agricultural and private gardens.

Wild flower seeding and plug plants

With our in house British native wild flower specialist we are able to provide a unique service, advising and planting wild flowers for habitat creation and conservation projects. To ensure a good supply of high quality seeds and plants we have developed our own specialist nursery to keep pace with demand.
